I'm obsessed with their pizza!
I literally travel from Bridgeport (there are 2 Captains pizzas in my city) to come to the one in Fairfield.
The pizza is less greasy and the employees are so nice!
Recommend extra cheese and sausage yum!!! -

I should start this review by stating that the waitress was excellent, attentive, apologetic and then eventually mortified on how the food was completely botched up. We ordered pizza. Wow, that should be simple until it was brought out. First, they didn't put meatballs on the entire pizza and garlic on half of it. To be polite I said, not to worry We will eat it. This was an obvious mistake. I suppose you could kill someone with the crust if you really wanted to. Sent it back and got pizza number 2. Just terrible. The mortified waitress suggested we order a wedge. Eggplant was excellent and my friend had the meatball which he said was just OK. Final review is one star or less.

We have been long standing customers. We had an issue with an order and the only time in 8+ years we called to inform them of an issue (food completely inedible) they were horribly rude. This is not surprising as the experience dining in the restaurant has always been substandard which is the reason we order take out. Beware- they do not treat customers well.

Okay so I don't usually post reviews but today my boyfriend and I stopped in before he had to be at work since we are usually always in and out. We were the only ones inside besides a table who had already been served and was getting ready to leave. Ordered a garlic bread and two sodas and a small pizza. Garlic bread came out quickly. No plates or napkins though. Then group of 5 came in and seemed to know the owner who immediately became more worried about their service than ours (who had now been sitting for 20+ minutes). Maybe another 10 minutes later our pizza comes out of the kitchen.. burnt and black, crust hard as a rock. Owner said sorry it was "well done" and would bring another out shortly. Problem with that was we didn't have time to be waiting longer. As we told him we didn't want it he still tried to charge us for the pizza! We ended up paying for the garlic bread and drinks and left. I understand things happen but we were the only ones in there and we felt as if our order was not enough and he was only worried about the next order and money.

Let me start by saying that the pizza is very tasty and I really love the crust and I usually do not eat the crust and found myself eating every bite. The problem was the size of the pizza. I bought a small which was more like a mini personal pizza. I could easily finish a small myself where as usually I only eat 1/2. Not sure what the larges are like. I might have to try one of those next time.
